UP  North  Cabin

We recently built a second cabin north of Twin Lakes cabin, so we dubbed it "UP North."  More recently we added a deck that has a small ramp for the convenience of hauling items in and out. [Note: The ramp is not made according to handicap specifications.]  The deck goes across the entire front and the south side of the cabin up to the side entrance.  Although this cabin does not have the roof extended over the deck, it is still very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the beauty of the large lake and surrounding woods.

This cabin is a little larger than the Twin Lakes cabin.  It has three bedrooms - one with a king size bed and a twin size bunk bed, one with a queen size bed and a twin size bunk bed, and the third with a twin size bunk bed.  This cabin sleeps ten.  All bedding is included.

Like Twin Lakes, UP North is also built with open rooms, combining the living room, dining room and kitchen.

The kitchen is furnished with all the usual utensils and small appliances.  It has an island that sits six people.  A short distance from there is the large dining room table (seats six).

The bathroom here also has a full size tub/shower and a washer and dryer. All towels, wash clothes, dish clothes, etc. furnished.

There is a TV in both the dining room and the living room.

Another feature of this cabin is that outside there is a fire pit, a BBQ grill (furnish your own charcoal & camp wood), and a large picnic table.  And there is a row boat in the lake for your use.  This boat is to be used ONLY by people wearing life jackets.  This lake is stocked with fish, so bring your fishing gear.  And don't forget to bring your swimming gear as well.
